(A) Officers of the Police Department may assist in the enforcement of this chapter. A police officer, upon observing a violation of this chapter or the rules and regulations established by this chapter, may take necessary enforcement action to ensure effective regulation of private ambulance service.
(B) The Fire Chief, Police Chief, EMS Director or their designee may inspect a private ambulance service operating in the city to determine whether the service complies with this chapter, rules and regulations established by this chapter, and other applicable law.
