6-1-15: DEFINITIONS CONTAINED IN CODE:
Unless the context otherwise requires, all references in the state traffic code to the following terms shall be as set out in this section:
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY: The chief of police of the city or his designee.
LOCAL AUTHORITIES: The governing body of the city.
MAGISTRATE: The justice of the peace or judge of the city. (1990 Code § 10.04.170; amd. 2003 Code)
