It shall not be unlawful to participate in, promote, organize or publicize a fighting/boxing contest in the city or upon city owned or controlled property where ten (10) or more individuals assemble when:
A. The mayor or his designee gives prior written approval to conduct a consensual fighting/boxing contest in the city or on city owned or controlled property; or
B. The consensual fighting/boxing activity is a part of classes sponsored by schools and other educational institutions or a duly licensed business providing boxing/fighting instruction. (Ord. 2000-30, 8-1-2000)
