Returns and applications made to the business license department as required by this chapter shall not be made public, nor shall they be subject to the inspection of any person, except the supervisor of the business license department as ex officio assessor or his authorized agent, and such persons as are engaged in the enforcement of this chapter. It is unlawful for any person to disclose the information contained in the documents, or to permit the inspection of any return, except as authorized in this section. (Ord. 2000-27, 8-1-2000)
