4-13-2: DEFINITIONS:
SMALL WIND ENERGY SYSTEM (SWES): Equipment that converts and then stores or transfers electrical energy from the wind, also referred to as a wind turbine. Systems are comprised of wind turbines, support structures, and associated electric components. Systems shall be of a maximum rated generation capacity of not more than ten kilowatts (10 kW).
