§ 52.06 GUARDING EXCAVATIONS.
   No person shall leave any excavation open unless the same shall be properly guarded and barricaded in the daytime, and in the nighttime it shall be further guarded by lighted red lanterns, flares or torches at the excavation, which shall be kept lighted from half an hour before sundown until an hour after sunrise.
