§ 152.001 ADOPTION OF NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE.
   (A)   Except as otherwise provided in § 152.030 hereof, all installations of electrical equipment and all electrical equipment installed or used shall be in conformity with the provisions of this chapter, with the statutes of the state and any orders, rules and regulations issued by authority hereof, and with the approved electrical standards for the safety to persons and property.
   (B)   Unless otherwise provided, in accordance with division (A) above, there is hereby adopted for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations governing electrical work as defined in this Code including permits and penalties, that certain code known as the National Electrical Code, and the most recent published version thereof, in the whole thereof, saving of such provisions as are hereinafter deleted, nullified or amended. Said Code, one copy of which shall be on file in the office of the Finance Officer is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein.
