Whoever shall resist or in any way hinder a Lake Police Officer in the discharge of his or her duty, or shall endeavor to do so or who shall, in any manner assist, any person in the custody of any such officer to escape or attempt to escape some such custody, or who shall attempt to rescue any person in such custody, shall be punished as prescribed in § 10.99.
