Any Lake Police Officer may at any time call upon any able-bodied male person above the age of 18 years aid him in arresting, retaining or holding in custody any person guilty of having committed any unlawful act or charged therewith or to aid the officer in preventing the commission of an unlawful act. Whoever shall neglect or refuse to give such aid or assistance when so required shall be punished as prescribed in § 10.99.
