§ 70.10 OBEDIENCE TO POLICE OFFICERS.
   (A)   Members of the city police department are hereby authorized to direct all traffic in accordance with the provisions of this chapter or in emergencies, as public safety or convenience may require. Except in the case of an emergency, it shall be unlawful for any person not authorized by the Chief of Police to direct or attempt to direct traffic.

   (B)   No person shall willfully fail or refuse to comply with any lawful order or direction of any police officer, fireman, person authorized by a local authority to direct traffic, or school crossing guard invested by law with authority to direct, control, or regulate traffic.
