(A) Assistant to assist Chief. The Assistant Chief shall assist the Chief, and act as Chief in his or her absence.
(B) Direct traffic. Fire Department personnel, when in uniform, shall have authority to direct traffic and enforce motor vehicle laws and ordinances at the fire scene, including issuance of citations to violators pursuant to the general statutes.
(C) Accompany equipment. At least one officer shall accompany any piece of equipment answering a fire call.
