This chapter shall be known as the “Noise Control Code for the Town of Pittsboro.” It shall be unlawful for any person to create or assist in creating, permit, continue, or permit the continuance of any unreasonably loud or disturbing noises in the town. Noises of such disturbing character, intensity, or duration as to be detrimental to the quality of life or health of any individual is prohibited.
