§ 112.02 QUALIFICATIONS; FEE; LICENSE DURATION.
   Any responsible person or firm (excluding a corporation duly licensed under the laws of the state to become surety on bail bonds, recognizance bonds or other court bonds) may obtain a license to do business as a professional bondsman from the City Manager on payment of a fee of $25 at the time of applying for a license, but no license shall be granted to any person who is not a citizen of the United States, nor to any person who has not attained the age of 21 years. The provisions of this section shall apply if the licensee assures or procures the assurance of risks or receives compensation for assurance. The licenses issued hereunder shall expire on December 31, subject to the date of their issuance, but may be annually renewed upon payment of the annual fee of $25.
