§ 31.60 SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERS.
   The Chief of Police may appoint, in writing, one or more special police officers. In cases of emergency, the Chief of Police may request of the chief of another municipal police department or the Sheriff, the aid of qualified officers serving in that jurisdiction, and if the request is approved, the officers while so assigned shall be deemed to be the officers of the city.
