The Mayor, the Director of Finance and the Director of Law are hereby authorized to invest public funds of the city in obligations and investments mentioned in R.C. §§ 731.56 and 731.57, the funds to be invested in such manner by the city officials in lieu of depositing the same in a bank or banks. Investment of the public funds shall be subject to all limitations, conditions and restrictions in accordance to law.
