§ 10.16 SECTION HISTORIES; STATUTORY REFERENCES.
   (A)   As histories for the code sections, the specific number and passage date of the original ordinance, and the most recent three amending ordinances, if any, are listed following the text of the code section. Example: (Ord. 10-60, passed 5-13-60; Am. Ord. 15-70, passed 1-1-70; Am. Ord. 20-80, passed 1-1-80; Am. Ord. 25-85, passed 1-1-85)
   (B)   (1)   If a statutory cite is included in the history, located in parenthesis immediately following a division or section of this code, this indicates that the text of the division or section reads substantially the same as the statutory provision. Example: (R.C. § 4511.02)
      (2)   If a statutory cite is set forth as a “statutory reference” following the text of a section, this indicates that the reader should refer to that statute for further information. Example:
   § 30.08 PUBLIC RECORDS AVAILABLE.
      Unless otherwise exempted by state law, all public records shall be promptly prepared and made available for inspection to any person.

   (C)   If a section of this code is derived from the previous code of ordinances of the city published in 1997 and subsequently amended, the 1997 code section number shall be indicated in the history. Example: (‘97 Code, § )
