(A) Required. No person shall drive a motor vehicle on any street in the town unless the motor vehicle is equipped with a muffler in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual noise and annoying smoke.
(B) Cut-outs prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person to use a muffler cut-out on any motor vehicle operated within the town.
