§ 151.056 UNSAFE BUILDINGS.
   (A)   When it appears to the Code Enforcement Official that a building is especially dangerous to life because of its liability to fire or because of bad condition of walls, overloaded floors, defective construction, decay, unsafe wiring or heating system, inadequate means of egress, or other causes, the Code Enforcement Official may exercise the powers granted by G.S. §§ 160D-1119 through 160D-1122.
   (B)   An order issued by the Code Enforcement Official under the authority of this section shall be certified by the Town Clerk and filed in the record of lis pendens, as provided in § 6.61 of the Charter.
   (C)   Upon the failure by the owner of the affected building to comply with an order issued under the authority of this section, further enforcement of the order shall be pursuant to the procedures provided in §§ 151.039(C) through (E), 151.040 and 151.041.
   (D)   In addition to other authority granted by this section, the Code Enforcement Official may exercise the authority granted by G.S. § 160D-1119.
