§ 130.03 DISCHARGE OF WEAPONS.
   (A)   For the purpose of this section, a FIREARM is defined as any weapon that will propel a projectile by the use of explosive action, including a bow and arrow and a crossbow.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot any firearm in the corporate limits of the town, with the following exceptions:
      (1)   An officer of the law lawfully discharging a duty weapon;
      (2)   The necessary defense of a person or property;
      (3)   Discharging firearms in licensed shooting galleries; and
      (4)   Discharging a bow and arrow and a crossbow in indoor or outdor instructional and/or tournament archery ranes, upon written permit issued by the chief of police.
