§ 93.07 FEEDING OF WATERFOWL.
   (A)   Definitions. For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      FEED or FEEDING. The act of or the furnishing of food or other sustenance which is essential for growth or maintenance.
      PERSON(S). An individual, family, firm, partnership, corporation, association of persons or institution commonly recognized by law as a unit.
      WATERFOWL. Any member of the species of birds, commonly known as swans, geese, ducks, seagulls and any other waterfowl.
   (B)   Feeding waterfowl. It shall be unlawful for any person to feed, cause to be fed or provide food or other sustenance essential for growth or maintenance to any waterfowl on public property, including but not limited to town-owned parks.
   (C)   Signs. Appropriate signs shall be erected within all town parks, as well as other areas within the town, at the discretion of the Town Administrator, advising and alerting the public not to feed waterfowl.
   (D)   Effective date. The effective date of this section is November 1, 2004.
