§ 95.17 AGE LIMITS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any child under the age of 12 years to use the lake and the lake facilities without being accompanied by and in direct personal charge of his, her, or their parent or some other responsible adult person 18 years of age or older other than the lifeguard.
   (B)   A parent may obtain an exception to the section by providing proof of a child under the age of 12 years having obtained Red Cross swimming certification at a minimum level of intermediate. If a parent can show such certification to the lifeguard, the parent will be authorized to purchase a lake pin, as described in § 95.15, and the child possessing the pin will be authorized to use the lake as if he, she, or they were 12 years of age or older. The lifeguards will not babysit such exceptions, but will regard them in the same manner as any other owner of a lake pin.
