(A) When parking meter zones or locations have been designated by resolution, the Commissioner shall cause lines or markings to be painted or placed upon the curb or street adjacent to each parking meter for the purpose of designating the parking space for which the meter is to be used and each vehicle parked alongside of or next to any parking meter shall park within the lines or markings so established.
(B) It shall be unlawful and a violation of this subchapter to park any vehicle in such a position that it shall not be entirely within the area so designated by the lines or markings.
