§ 70.007 EMERGENCY VEHICLES.
   (A)   Upon approach of a Fire Department vehicle, drivers of vehicles shall comply with the provisions of division (D) below.
   (B)   No driver of any vehicle, other than one on official business, shall follow any fire apparatus in response to a fire alarm, closer than one block, or park any vehicle within the block where fire apparatus has stopped to answer a fire alarm.
   (C)   No driver of any vehicle shall drive over an unprotected hose of the Fire Department without the consent of the Fire Chief or assistant in command.
   (D)   Upon the immediate approach of an authorized vehicle, when the driver is giving audible sign by siren or bell, the driver of every other vehicle shall yield the right-of-way and immediately shall drive to a position parallel to, and as close as possible, to the right edge or curb of the highway clear of any intersection and shall stop and remain in that position until the authorized emergency vehicle has passed, except when otherwise directed by a police officer. This division shall not relieve the driver of an authorized emergency vehicle from the duty to drive with due regard for the safety of all persons using the highway.
