A. No individual will be denied eligibility on the basis of race, color, religion or sex, nor be denied the right to apply for an eligibility determination, nor have eligibility determined in a different manner from that of others. Neither shall any individual be subjected to segregation or separate treatment in any matter related to eligibility determination on the basis of race, color, religion or sex. National origin may be considered as a basis for requiring additional information from applicants for the purpose of establishing U.S. legal status.
B. All aspects of the eligibility determination process shall be conducted in a manner which protects the privacy of the applicant and enables him/her to maintain his/her dignity and integrity.
