The director of Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation department, his/her deputy or designee, is authorized to receive state and federal criminal history record information for the purposes of evaluating the fitness of prospective and current employees and volunteers with the Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation department who work directly with children under the age of eighteen (18). Criminal history record information received by the Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation department shall be used only for the purpose of evaluating the fitness of prospective or current employees, and volunteers, who work directly with children under the age of eighteen (18). Secondary dissemination of such information is strictly prohibited provided, however, Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation department personnel shall comply with any relevant state and federal rules and regulations regarding the dissemination of criminal history record information.
