A. The operator of any alarm system, whether at a business or residence, shall be responsible for instructing all persons who are authorized to place the device or system into operation in the appropriate method of operation, advising them of the provisions of this chapter, and emphasizing the importance of avoiding false alarms.
B. The operator of any alarm system, whether at a business or residence, shall conspicuously place on the premises a notice identifying the alarm company or service to whom the premises subscribes and who is available to respond to an alarm activation, or a notice provided by the sheriff's department designed to allow notification of the operator or an authorized representative available to respond to an alarm activation, or other such notice which shall include the name, address and telephone number of the primary person and at least one alternate available to respond to an alarm activation.
