A. Water Supply. Each travel trailer parking area shall be provided with one or more easily accessible water supply outlets for filling trailer water storage tanks. Such water supply outlets shall consist of at least a water hydrant and the necessary appurtenances and shall be protected against the hazards of backflow and back siphonage.
B. Sewer Connections. Pipe used for sewer connections shall be of a type and size approved by the health officer.
C. Sewage Disposal.
1. Travel trailer park sewage disposal may be accomplished by two methods: a sewer connection at each parking area or through use of sanitary stations.
2. A sanitary station shall consist of at least a trapped, four-inch nominal inside diameter sewer riser pipe.
3. Each travel trailer parking area shall be provided with a sanitary station in the ratio of one for every one hundred trailer spaces or fractional part thereof.
4. Sanitary stations shall be screened from other activities by visual barriers such as fences, walls or natural growth, and shall be separated from any trailer space by a distance of at least fifty feet.
5. Under no circumstances will sinks or holding tanks be discharged to the surface of the ground.
D. Temporary Travel Trailer Sites and Rallies. Any person desiring to furnish temporary facilities for accommodating a travel trailer rally, or other group of trailers assembled for the purpose of traveling together, shall make application for such activity to the health officer. The requirements for a service building and other sanitary and physical facilities may be waived by the health officer on the determination that public health will not be endangered: but the site, the facilities which are provided, and the method of conducting such rally shall be acceptable to the health officer before a special permit shall be issued specifying the location of the site. The period of operation shall not exceed ten days.
