8.20.020   Definitions.
   All definitions adopted in Chapter 8.04 of this title and the following specific definitions apply to this chapter:
   A.   "Dependent trailer" means a trailer which is dependent upon a service building for toilet and lavatory facilities.
   B.   "Garbage container" means metal or approved plastic twenty-gallon to thirty-gallon containers used to store refuse at individual premises.
   C.   "Mobile home" means a transportable, single-family dwelling unit suitable for year-round occupancy and containing the same water supply, waste disposal and electrical conveniences as immobile housing.
   D.   "Mobile home lot" means a parcel of land for the placement of a single mobile home and the exclusive use of its occupants.
   E.   "Mobile home park" means any plot of ground upon which two or more mobile homes as defined in subsection C of this section, occupied for dwelling or sleeping purposes, are located regardless of whether or not a charge is made for such accommodations. This does not apply where all trailers are occupied by the owner of the plot and his immediate family, nor does it include areas provided for recreational purposes or overnight parking by agencies of the local, state and federal governments, where posted restrictions for use of such areas are provided. For purposes of this chapter, the term "mobile home park" also includes travel trailer parks. unless otherwise excluded.
   F.   "Mobile home stand" means that part of an individual lot which has been reserved for the placement of the mobile home, appurtenant structures or additions.
   G.   "Plumbing" or "plumbing systems" means and includes all potable water supply and distribution pipes, all plumbing fixtures and traps. all drainage and vent pipe and all building drains, including their respective joints and connections, devices, receptacles and appurtenances within the proper lines of the premises and shall include potable water piping, water heaters and vents for same.
   H.   "Refuse" means all putrescible and nonputrescible solid and semi-solid wastes, except human excreta, but includes garbage, rubbish, ashes, manure, street cleanings, dead animals, abandoned automobiles and industrial wastes.
   I.   "Refuse containers" or "rubbish containers means covered metal containers of a size of one-half cubic yard or larger which may be owned by the park owner or the refuse collection agency.
   J.   "Sanitary station" means a facility used for removing and disposing of wastes from trailer holding tanks.
   K.   "Self-contained trailer" means a trailer which can operate independently of connections to sewer, water and electric systems. It contains a water-flushed toilet, lavatory, shower and kitchen sink, all of which are connected to water storage and sewage holding tanks located with the trailer.
   L.   "Service building" means a structure housing toilet, lavatory and such other facilities as may be required by this chapter.
   M.   "Service sink" means a slop sink with a flushing rim for the disposal of liquid wastes from trailers.
   N.   "Sewer connection" means the connection consisting of all pipes, fittings and appurtenances from the drain outlet of the mobile home to the inlet of the corresponding sewer riser pipe of the sewage system serving the mobile home park.
   O.   "Sewer riser pipe" means that portion of the sewer lateral which extends vertically to the ground elevation and terminates at each mobile home lot or parking space.
   P.   ""Trailer space" means a parcel of land in a travel trailer parking area for the placement of a single trailer and the exclusive use of its occupants.
   Q.   "Trailer stand" means that part of an individual trailer space which has been reserved for the placement of a single trailer and its necessary structures.
   R.   "Travel trailer" means a vehicular, portable structure built on a chassis, designed to be used as a temporary dwelling for travel, recreational and vacations uses, permanently identified as a travel trailer by the manufacturer of the trailer and factory equipped for the road. It shall also include the following:
      1.   "Camping trailer" means a canvas, folding structure, mounted on wheels and designed for travel, recreation and vacation use.
      2.   "Motor home" means a portable, temporary dwelling to be used for travel, recreation and vacation, constructed as an integral part of a self-propelled vehicle.
      3.   "Pick-up coach" means a structure designed to be mounted on a truck chassis for use as a temporary dwelling for travel, recreation and vacation.
   S.   "Travel trailer parking area" means a mobile home park as defined in subsection E of this section, which has been planned for the placement of travel trailers for transient use.
   T.   "Water connection" means the connection consisting of all pipes, fittings and appurtenances from the water riser pipe to the water inlet pipe of the distribution system within the mobile home or travel trailer.
   U.   "Water riser pipe" means that portion of the water supply system serving the mobile home park or travel trailer parking area which extends vertically to the ground elevation and terminates at a designated point at each mobile home lot or travel trailer space.
   V.   "Watering station" means a facility for supplying water storage tanks of trailers with potable water.
