A. The purpose of this zone is to fulfill the requirements of A.R.S. Section 11-821.01 which requires that counties adopt an industrial zone for industries which cannot meet the performance standards of more restrictive zones, in order that such uses may be located in areas such that they could expect reasonable protection.
