5.09.070   License fee and suspension.
   A.   A person applying for a new scrap metal dealer license shall pay an application fee of five hundred dollars to the sheriff or his designee.
   B.   Each licensed scrap metal dealer shall pay an annual renewal fee of two hundred fifty dollars annually to the sheriff or his designee. The annual renewal fee is due no later than January 31.
   C.   A licensee who fails to renew his license within thirty days after the payment of the license is due is subject to a penalty often percent of the license fee which is payable with the license fee.
   D.   A licensee who is found to be in violation of this Chapter shall have his license suspended for a period of no less than thirty days. Upon completion of the suspension period and reapplication for license, a scrap metal dealer may be granted a new license. All new dealer application fees apply.
