§ 33.01  NON-PARTISAN BASIS OF ELECTIONS.
   The method of election of town officials shall be on a nonpartisan basis with the candidate or candidates receiving a plurality of the vote being declared the winner as pursuant to the provisions of G.S. § 163-292.

§ 33.02  TERMS OF OFFICE.
   The members of the Board of Commissioners shall be elected to four-year terms. At the regular municipal election to be held in 1993, and every four years thereafter, two persons shall be elected to seats on the Board of Commissioners and shall serve four- year terms. At the regular municipal election to be held in 1995, and every four years thereafter, three persons shall be elected to seats on the Board of Commissioners and shall serve four-year terms.

§ 33.03  ELECTION OF MAYOR.
   The Mayor shall be elected to a four-year term. At the regular municipal election to be held in 1993, and every four years thereafter, the Mayor shall be elected and shall serve a four-year term.
