§ 99.01 DISPLAY OF ADDRESS IDENTIFICATION NUMBER.
   The owner and/or occupant and/or person in charge of any house, building, mobile home, residence or other structure within the city for which an address or identification number is or has been assigned by the city shall at their cost and within ninety (90) days following the receipt of the completed address notification form:
   (A)   Cause the number assigned to said building, mobile home, structure, the unit within a multi-unit structure be permanently and prominently displayed at a size of not less than four (4) inches in height in a conspicuous place on said building, mobile home structure or other unit of a multi-unit structure so as to be clearly visible and identifiable at all times during daylight hours to the persons and vehicles traveling in both directions of the street or named easement upon which the structure is located. Additionally, the numbers shall:
      (1)   The number must be at least three (3) feet above street level.
      (2)   The background for the numbers should be contrasting so that numbers can be seen clearly; for example, black numbers on a white background or white numbers on a black background.
      (3)   Numbers must be numerical, not script.
   (B)   Cause any mailbox serving the building, mobile home, structure or unit within a multi unit structure to permanently and prominently display the assigned number a size not less than three (3) inches high;
   (C)   Cause the address identification number assigned to be permanently and prominently displayed at a size of no less than four (4) inches in height on a number post clearly visible and identifiable from the road or street designated on the address identification form if neither the address identification number displayed upon the structure nor the address identification number displayed on the mail box are disconcernable from the street or road on which the structure is located.
   (D)   Cause the removal from the structure and/or mailbox of any number different from that designated in the address identification form.
