§ 72.004 PARKING SCHEDULES.
   The city shall, from time to time, adopt a parking schedule exhibit entitled “City of Pikeville Parking Schedules,” by resolution of the Board of Commissioners of the city by reference as if set forth in full herein. All times listed shall be enforceable by this section. Anyone violating this section shall be subject to penalty under §§ 72.990 et seq., Parking Citation Enforcement.

§ 72.005 PARKING RESTRICTED TO ALLOW STREET CLEANING.
   The city is authorized to designate street cleaning areas and shall provide suitable signs and markings on the street to be cleaned, restricting parking on that particular day. It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to stop on any street so designated.

§ 72.006 ALL-NIGHT PARKING.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to park, leave, or abandon a vehicle or other property in the same place on a public street in the city for a period of twenty four (24) hours or longer. Moving vehicles from a parking space to another parking space to avoid the application of this provision shall not be permitted and shall be deemed “the same space” for the purpose of this regulation.
   (B)   Vehicle as used herein is defined per § 70.01 and additional as a motor vehicle, non-motorized vehicle, trailer, motor home, travel trailer, storage container, box or pod, equipment or other personal property.
   (C)   The Pikeville Police Department in its discretion may issue “extended overnight parking permits” for vehicles so long as the department determines that there will be no substantial adverse impact upon residential OR parking and the permit is a limited about time and scope to strict necessity. Extended overnight parking permits or renewed permits in excess of five days shall be issued for a fee of ten dollars ($10) per day.
   (D)   Any vehicle left parked in violation of division (A) shall be deemed abandoned, and shall be subject to the impoundment provisions of § 72.993. Penalty for violation of this provision is deemed “overtime parking” and subject to the penalty provided in § 72.999.
