§ 152.01 PLAN COMMISSION.
   (A)   Area Plan Commission created.
      (1)   There is hereby established an Area Planning Department for the county, pursuant to the authority provided in Chapter 138 of the Acts of 1957 of the state’s General Assembly, as amended.
      (2)   The Area Planning Department shall be created effective January 1, 1968.

   (B)   Membership.
      (1)   The membership of the Area Plan Commission of the county’s Area Planning Department shall be as set forth in paragraphs 8, 9, 10 and 25 of said Chapter 138 of said Acts of 1958, as amended, and the members of the Area Plan Commission shall have the qualifications of the terms of office and shall be appointed, all as provided in paragraphs 11, 12 and 13 of said Chapter 138 of the Acts of 1957, as amended.
      (2)   The members of the Area Plan Commission representing the county and the members representing the cities and towns participating in the establishment of the Area Planning Department shall be appointed or elected as provided for in said statutes and shall be certified to the County Board of Commissioners. The President of the County Board of Commissioners will assemble the Area Plan Commission promptly after January 1, 1968 and preside at such meeting until the membership of the Area Plan Commission has elected a President.
