(a) Mobile food truck operation within the City shall be restricted to:
(1) The Olde Pickerington Village Overlay Zoning District as defined by Chapter 1302 of these Codified Ordinances.
(2) Properties containing a taproom or brewery.
(3) Schools, churches, hospitals, and not for profit entities.
(b) The City Manager, or his/her designee, may grant an exception for the operation of a mobile food truck operation outside of the areas identified above on a case-by-case basis based on a determination of need.
(c) A mobile food truck may not operate on a property for more than fourteen calendar days per month, and shall not operate before 6:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m., unless during a special event.
(d) Mobile food trucks located within the right-of-way shall be subject to the City of Pickerington Police regulations and enforcement.
(e) Mobile food trucks shall not use speakers or audio amplification.
(f) Food trucks shall not impede safe site circulation, as determined by the City Engineer.
(g) Each food truck shall provide a trash receptacle near the food truck, shall prevent the accumulation of litter or containers from the food truck within fifty feet of the food truck, and shall remove and empty the trash receptacle in a permitted location when the food truck ends sales for the day.
