1258.01   GUARANTEE FOR INSTALLATION OF IMPROVEMENTS.
   All improvements required herein shall be constructed prior to acceptance by the City. The subdivider shall furnish a surety for the amount of the estimated construction cost of the improvements. The surety shall be in the form acceptable to the Law Director and Finance Director. A surety is required prior to the initiation of construction for the full cost of constructing any improvements within existing public property, easements or rights-of-way. On-site improvements which will be dedicated to public use shall require a surety for the full cost of completing said improvements. The developer shall also provide funds in the form required by the Law Director and Finance Director, to cover the costs of generating as built drawings, to the satisfaction of the Engineer. The Engineer should determine the necessary amount for each project and shall promptly return all of the funds upon submission of satisfactory as build drawings.
