Entire subdivisions may be eligible for Federal Housing Administration (FHA) approval under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Local Area Certification (LAC) program. At any time in the preliminary or final subdivision review process, the subdivider may, at his or her option, delay the application up to six months for the purpose of obtaining HUD/FHA Clearinghouse review and comment.
