(a) A preliminary plat may be the basis for a final plat submission at any time during twenty-four months after preliminary plat approval, subsequent lot size or other Zoning Code changes notwithstanding.
(b) After twenty-four months from the date of the approval of the preliminary plat, final plat submissions shall meet the new Code requirements, if any. An extension may be granted by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
