The Engineer may require a traffic impact study to determine whether the type of use or activity proposed would have an adverse effect on safety and the capacity of the adjacent roadway. If the Engineer determines that there is an adverse impact, the spacing requirements and characteristics of the access may be revised in order to adequately address traffic movement problems or concerns.
