The Engineer is hereby authorized to require, before granting a written permit, that a sufficient surety be given to the Municipality to insure the carrying out of the terms of such permit. The surety shall be in the form acceptable to the Law Director and Finance Director. When the requirements of the permit have been met, the bond or deposit shall be returned.
