266.02   FORFEITURE OF BOARD OR COMMISSION APPOINTMENT.
   (a)   Grounds Constituting Forfeiture. The appointment of a board or commission member shall be forfeited immediately for any of the following:
      (1)   Has pled to or has been convicted of a felony while on a board or commission;
      (2)   Has pled to or has been convicted of any crime involving dereliction of duties or breach of public trust while on a board or commission;
      (3)   Lacks, or is found to have lacked, at any time while on a board or commission, any eligibility requirements of Section 266.01; or
      (4)   Has failed to attend three consecutive regular meetings without being excused, upon which time the City Clerk shall notify the member of their removal.
   (b)   In addition to the grounds for removal provided above, Council may remove any board or commission member for persistent failure to abide by the board or commission’s rules.
   (c)   Any board or commission member so removed shall not be eligible for appointment to the vacancy created thereby.
