(a) A permit shall be required for any and all storm water drainage related work performed in any public right of way, or anywhere within public easements which have been granted for that purpose. An application for the permit shall include the location of the work to be performed; the type of work to be performed; materials to be used; and other facts which may be provided for. A fee of fifty dollars ($50.00), plus the costs of the Engineer's review, shall accompany the application, to cover administrative costs.
(b) Examples of work requiring a permit shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:
(1) Construction of drainage swale or ditch;
(2) Construction of enclosed storm sewers;
(3) Filling in or enclosing of drainage swales or ditches;
(4) Installation of driveway culverts; and
(5) Extension of sump drains and roof gutters to concrete curb outlets or ditches.
