1054.11 LIMITATIONS ON USE OF GARBAGE GRINDERS.

(a) No person shall discharge grinders into a public sewer except properly ground wastes generated in the preparation of food normally consumed on the premises.

(b) Such grinders shall shred the waste to a degree that all particles are carried freely under normal flow conditions prevailing in the public sewer. Garbage grinders shall not be used for grinding plastic, paper products, inert materials or garden refuse.
