1026.04 REMOVAL FROM PARK STRIPS OR CURB LAWNS AFTER NOTICE.
   It shall be the duty of every person who has planted trees, shrubbery or other plantings within the dedicated portions of the street right-of-way commonly known as the park strip or curb lawn, or who claims ownership of or interest in such trees, shrubbery or other plantings located within or encroaching upon the dedicated portions of the street by reason of ownership of the adjacent lot or parcel of land, or otherwise, to remove the same upon being so directed in writing by the Manager. In the event of the failure of such person to remove such planting within ten days after receipt of such notice, or in the event the person who caused such planting to be made or who claims interest therein is not known to the Manager or cannot be located, the Manager shall be authorized to remove such tree, shrub or planting or to trim or prune the same as he or she may deem advisable.
