(a) A person seeking to resign from a board or commission of the City is requested to follow the following procedure: a letter of resignation indicating the effective date of the resignation should be delivered, personally or by regular U.S. mail, to the City Clerk.
(b) The City Clerk, upon being notified of the resignation (immediate or prospective), will promptly notify the Chair of the respective Board or Commission, any Council representative on the respective Board or Commission, the Rules Committee and the City Manager of the resignation.
