(a) The General Orders, as presented in their present form, are hereby approved as the rules for the operation of the Police Department, pursuant to Charter Section 5.07.
(b) The City Manager is hereby empowered to amend the General Orders from time to time as procedure and necessity require.
(c) The Safety Committee of Council shall be given notice by the City Manager of all changes made to the General Orders. All amendments to the General Orders shall stand as written, unless overridden by a majority vote of Council.
