(a) The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to accept cash from the mandatory drug fines imposed on convicted drug offenders in accordance State law and these Codified Ordinances.
(b) The City Manager shall place all cash received pursuant to subsection (a) hereof into a special Law Enforcement Mandatory Drug Fine Fund, with the Finance Director, to be used solely for Police Department law enforcement efforts pertaining to drug offenses. Such Fund shall be separate and apart from any other special fund previously established.
