The Service Department establishes an Identity Theft Prevention Program to identify and detect the warning signs or red flags of identity theft. This Program describes the appropriate responses intended to prevent and mitigate the potential identity theft. The Program shall also include reasonable policies and procedures to ensure the Program is updated periodically to reflect changes in risks to customers and to the safety and soundness of the creditor from identity theft. The Program incorporates any existing policies and procedures that control reasonably foreseeable risks as already implemented by the City.
