ADOPTING ORDINANCES
ORDINANCE NO. 2006-8
CITY OF PEWEE VALLEY, KENTUCKY
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING PRIOR ORDINANCES AND ADOPTING REVISED CODE OF ORDINANCES
WHEREAS, KRS 83A.060(l) provides that once every five years each city shall examine all ordinances for consistency with state law and with one another, and they shall be revised to eliminate redundant, obsolete, inconsistent and invalid provisions; and
WHEREAS, the city has conducted such an examination during the legal review, codification and indexing of all its ordinances in conjunction with a local records project with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department for Libraries and Archives; and
WHEREAS, the city desires to repeal all its prior ordinances and replace them in their entirety with the Revised Code of Ordinances of 2006, as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PEWEE VALLEY, KENTUCKY, that:
SECTION 1: All ordinances enacted prior to passage of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 2: The Revised Code of Ordinances of 2006, as amended, is hereby adopted in its entirety.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage and publication.
