§ 150.38 BUILDING PERMITS; PROCEDURE TO OBTAIN.
   (A)   Any person desiring to construct, reconstruct, or otherwise change the contour or size of any building or other structure, shall, before so doing, file a written application with the Village Clerk for a permit therefor, setting out the type of building or other structure, the legal description of the lot or parcel of land upon which it is to be located, and where it is now located if within said village, the part or portion of the lot or parcel of land to be occupied by said building or other structure, the probable cost of the building or improvement, or the value of the building or improvement, or the type of construction of all chimneys, smokestacks, and flues and any additional plans or specifications or details that may be required by the Village Board.
   (B)   No work shall be done in connection with said project until a permit therefor shall have been granted and issued in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter.
